QUALITIES OF A PROFESSIONAL TELEPHONE OPERATOR
· Operator should answer the all incoming call very politely and
clearly by using good operating expressions.
· Operator must not listen subscriber’s conversation for other
purposes.
· Operator should not make
unnecessary conversation with subscribers.
· Operator should not get angry with subscribers. Because of
subscribers satisfaction is the most important factor.
· Operator should not consume food or drink while operating at the
switchboard it will make the bad picture about the organization.
· Operator should not leave the exchange without being properly
relieved by the incoming operator.
· Operator must keep a good cooperation with other organization or
other exchanges.
· Operator should keep the exchange every time fully clean and
tidy.
